With the house lights dimmed, a spotlight on the closed stage curtains and the hush of the audience, this overture will transport you to a musical theatre auditorium.  True to form, it previews the main musical themes of the upcoming performance.  The word, "Chookas" is used in Australia to wish theatre performers good luck.  Synonymous with "break a leg".
